Enbridge Gas Inc. (Enbridge) retained Dillon to undertake a routing study and environmental and cumulative effects assessment for approximately 6.7 km of natural gas pipeline in the city of Markham, Ontario.

The purpose of the project was to blend a small amount of hydrogen gas into Enbridge’s existing natural gas network in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Dillon completed baseline environmental studies, led a public and agency consultation effort which included public open house events, and developed an environmental report which was filed as part of Enbridge’s leave-to-construct application with the Ontario Energy Board.
