Scott Moore

Scott is a mechanical engineer with over 38 years experience as a Consulting Engineer having worked on a variety of Building projects throughout Atlantic Canada, in the various sectors of our Construction industry. He volunteers on several organization’s Board of Directors and Committees.

Responsibilities and expertise include Mechanical building services design; marketing; office management; project management; energy conservation; energy management; building metrics; benchmarking; co-ordination between  engineers and technologists and other members of the design team; preparation of specifications, reports and feasibility studies; equipment selection; contract administration and site inspections. 

Scott is also responsible for load calculations; design of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire protection and controls systems; gathering existing building/field information, budget control, indoor air quality (IAQ) issues, life cycle cost (LCC) analysis, building assessments/audits; and commissioning. 

He has gained considerable experience w.r.t. “Green/Sustainable/Net Zero” technologies and has completed numerous LEED certified projects. Furthermore, he is well versed w.r.t. Solar and Geothermal technologies, having worked on several large projects over the years.
