City of London Awarded OALA Award for Service to the Environment

The City of London was honoured with an Award for Service to the Environment by the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects for their Guidelines for Management Zones and Trails in Environmentally Significant Areas. The City developed the guidelines to provide a science-based, repeatable and transparent trail planning policy and process that enhances the stewardship, community engagement experience  and the protection of ecological features and functions.

The Dillon team facilitated and documented the focus group to provide the review and revision of the previous Trail Standards in addition to providing the scientific support and facilitated consultation for the Guidelines.
