Dillon in partnership with McMaster University Presented Integrated Science Workshop

Dillon partnered with McMaster University to present a high school science workshop for Indigenous students on May 15, 2017. The program included an introduction to McMaster’s Indigenous Centre; technical science sessions on forensics, water, bugs and healthy environments and an understanding of integrated science; and a presentation of case studies of traditional knowledge improving earth and environmental science applications. A discussion of undergraduate options with current university students, and a discussion of career opportunities after graduation completed the day. Heather Stuart (Dillon) co-hosted with Dr. Carolyn Eyles (McMaster University).
