Bio
Roger is an environmental engineer specializing in climate change impacts to the built environment, communities and bio-systems. He has experience in environmental assessment, climate change vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, environmental systems modelling and public engagement on environmental impacts and climate change resilience considerations. He has delivered projects and developed training in Canada and internationally by Engineers Canada (EC), and is a recognized expert in the application of EC’s PIEVC framework for climate vulnerability assessment of critical public infrastructure. He has conducted and managed assessments investigating emerging concerns such as climate change vulnerability for critical infrastructure, accidental chemical release modelling for chemical manufacturing facilities, water quality studies and urban runoff modelling.
