Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Receives Funding for Safe Drinking Water

Dillon is proud to have worked with the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte in the preparation of the Infrastructure Canada Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund (DMAF) to improve residents' access to safe drinking water and safeguard the community from the effects of drought caused by climate change. Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte has received $30M in funding from Infrastructure Canada to improve residents’ access to safe drinking water and safeguard the community from the effects of drought caused by climate change. Indigenous Services Canada is also investing $14.5M towards the direct connection of 146 homes to the communities main water treatment system. This project will help end long-term drinking water advisories on public drinking water systems on reserve. Click here to read more.
