Jean-Michel DeVink at the Canadian Ecotoxicity Workshop

Jean-Michel (JM) DeVink participated  in the Canadian Ecotoxicity Workshop (CEW), held from September 30-October 3, 2018, in Vancouver, BC. JM took part  in the CEW Student Networking Mixer on Sunday, September 30, as the industry representative during a panel discussion with other expert mentors from academia and government.

The CEW (formerly known as the Aquatic Toxicity Workshop) is an annual meeting for ecological toxicologists and other related disciplines. “It provides an opportunity to share information on current and emerging topics of regional, national and international importance related to contaminants in ecosystems, both aquatic and terrestrial.”

JM is an associate and environmental scientist with over 20 years of research, consulting and management experience. He is a technical specialist in environmental effects assessments, avian ecology and ecological risk assessments. JM is also an adjunct professor at the University of Saskatchewan where he currently sits on three graduate student committees and has supervised one graduate student, who now works at Dillon.
