The Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) recently published a web-friendly summary of the Indigenous Planning Perspectives Task Force Report with recommendations for a provincial strategy to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. The report discusses how OPPI can better support planners and their projects while supporting Indigenous planning approaches and perspectives.
The Task Force group includes Indigenous community members and many planning community members including Adam Wright (Task Force Chair) and Heather Swan (both with Dillon).
