Doug Bell Re-Appointed Councillor of Engineers and Geoscientists Manitoba

Doug Bell has been re-appointed councillor for Engineers and Geoscientists Manitoba. The Council acts in the name of, and on behalf of, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba to exercise all of the powers, authority, and privileges conferred to the association through the Engineering and Geoscientific Professions Act. Doug will serve a two-year term on Council starting in 2019.

Doug is a partner and hydrogeologist with over 27 years of geological, environmental and hydrogeological experience. He has managed numerous environmental assessments, site characterizations and reclamation projects for both public and private sector clients. He has extensive experience in development and implementation of environmental management plans, including monitoring and remediation activities, emergency spill response and liaison with regulatory agencies, and expert witness services. In addition to his consulting roles with Dillon, Doug has also worked as a regulator with the Province of Manitoba and has served on national boards with the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment.
