Dillon Honoured with City of Hamilton Chief Planner Award

Dillon, NORR and McMaster University were honoured at the City of Hamilton’s 2017 Urban Design and Architecture Awards with the inaugural Chief Planner Award for Outstanding Contribution to the City of Hamilton for the David Braley Health Sciences Centre. The design connected exterior and interior features through the use of shaded gateway entry plaza, rooftop gardens, water feature elements and outdoor seating areas separate from streetscape environments.

Dillon prepared the design of the health campus as a prominent facility within the urban landscape of the city of Hamilton. The design was inspired by local water and landscapes translating as natural stone, native plantings and water walls throughout the site.
