Dillon Recognized by WEAO

Dillon engineers were recognized at the 2017 Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO) Annual Conference. Mike Thomson and Tiffany Chai received “Outstanding Service to the Water Environment Association of Ontario” awards for their service as committee chairs - Mike chaired the Wastewater Treatment & Technology committee and Tiffany chaired the Young Professional Committee. Linda Li, who will will join Dillon in May, received a scholarship from WEAO recognizing her Master's research on the sustainable treatment of municipal wastewater using psychrophilic anaerobic membrane bioreactors at the University of Waterloo. 

In addition to the awards, Matthew Murdock presented a paper co-authored with Kyle MacIntyre titled “Capital Planning and Inventory Tool: Asset Management of Wastewater Pumping Stations in Halifax, Nova Scotia” and Bram Bontje contributed to the conference committee as one of two coordinators for the technical program.
