Building and preserving facilities and systems for our industrial, commercial and institutional clients are integral parts of Dillon’s business.

Whether it involves designing a new building, renovating an existing structure, or solving industrial hygiene, workplace safety, process wastewater treatment or air quality problems, Dillon can take your project from the initial consulting phase through to implementation and commissioning.

New Facilities and Renovations

New construction and renovation of older buildings, or the redesign and refit of an existing structure for a new use, require special blends of skill and experience. At Dillon, thorough project planning, obtaining approvals and working with regulators and special interest groups are all part of the job. Only then are we ready to move to the final design and construction stages.

Specialized Facilities

Special facilities require special buildings. What goes on the outside has to live and breathe with what’s inside. We have applied our specialized design expertise to environmental laboratories, waste processing facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, transit terminals and ones that frequently involve public health, worker safety and complex environmental conditions.

Environmental Management in the Workplace

We help clients manage environmental quality, both inside and outside the workplace. We test for pollution discharges, design treatment and control systems, obtain approvals and monitor the results. We help keep the workplace safe and clean by assessing factors that affect human health and safety, such as asbestos, ergonomics and hazards. We recommend ways to make the workplace more accident and pollution free through worker training programs, and on-going management and monitoring of health and safety issues.
