Bio

Whitney is a biologist with over nine years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors. She is experienced in both writing and reviewing environmental applications and reports using applicable legislation, policies and procedures. She is knowledgeable in both terrestrial and aquatic habitats and has expertise in wildlife and habitat protection requirements. During her time with Dillon she has completed environmental studies for a variety of project types, many of which have included SAR requirements and/or permitting under the Ontario Endangered Species Act (2007), and Fisheries and Oceans Canada requirements and/or approvals under the federal Fisheries Act. She has also lead several Environmental Impact Studies and Headwater Drainage Feature assessments for land development projects across Ontario, and has experience in EA work within the Ottawa area within public, private and federal lands.
