Pat Maloney Elected to PIBC Board of Directors

Pat Maloney was elected to the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC) Board of Directors for a two-year term on May 8th, 2019. PIBC is the western-most affiliate of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) representing British Columbia and the Yukon. “The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall leadership and governance of PIBC’s activities and business including appointing officer positions and certain committee chairs, setting the annual budget, determining policy, and setting PIBC's strategic direction.”

Pat Maloney is an associate and planner with over 40 years of experience in land use planning, policy development, strategic planning and public consultation. She understands housing issues, whether they are affordability, accessibility and appropriateness. Pat has worked with land developers not for profit organizations and understands the markets, proformas and the need to manage construction and development costs. Pat has been honored as a Fellow of the CIP, in recognition of her experience across western and northern Canada, her devotion to mentoring and coaching young planners and her contribution to the planning profession.
