Sarah Devereaux at Engineers Canada 2018 Hill Day

Sarah Devereaux participated in Engineers Canada’s 2018 Hill Day on April 24, 2018. Members of Engineers Canada committees were in attendance to raise awareness of issues directly affecting the engineering profession in Canada. Parliamentarians met with Engineers Canada to discuss climate change and supporting women, girls and Indigenous peoples pursuing engineering.

Sarah is a partner and civil engineer with experience in environmental and municipal projects. She has managed many large, multi-disciplined infrastructure projects on the East Coast and throughout Canada. In addition to project work, she is active in the engineering community as a past president of Engineers Nova Scotia (2012-13), and Consulting Engineers of Nova Scotia (2010-11). She is a Fellow of Engineers Canada. She has been recognized with a number of other engineering excellence awards including the recent 2014 Engineers Canada Award for the support of women in the engineering profession and 2014 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner.
