The book Green Energy, Green Economy & Green Space - Pathways to Urban Sustainability- A critical review of the presentations from the Caribbean Urban Forum 2017, Belize, by Asad Mohammed (University of West Indies, St. Augustine), and Perry Polar (Caribbean Network for Urban and Land Management), was published in April 2018. The book examines the presentations at the Caribbean Urban Forum 2017.
The Dominica National Land Use Policy and National Physical Development Plan for the Commonwealth of Dominica was highlighted as part of Rory Baksh’s presentation. The presentation takes an alternative interpretation of the “green” economy of Dominica and illustrates how it creates climate change resiliency challenges, and the resulting success in integrating the green economy with resiliency and sustainability.
