Adam Prokopanko Presented the Waverley Underpass to Grade 1 and 2 Students

On Wednesday, September 20th, Adam Prokopanko presented the Waverley Underpass project to Grade 1 and 2 students at Montrose School in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The students had recently walked by the construction site and were interested in what was occurring near their school. Murray Mandzuk, an inquiry and support teacher at the school, helped to arrange Adam’s presentation.

The project is under construction just south of the school and includes the replacement of the existing at-grade railway crossing at Waverley and Taylor with an underpass, along with reconstruction and rehabilitation of Waverley Street. Adam’s presentation included flythrough videos and designs Dillon developed earlier this year.
