Rebecca Appleton receives 2017 Engineers Nova Scotia Young Engineer Award

Rebecca Appleton received the Young Engineer Award at the Engineers Nova Scotia Annual General Meeting and Engineering Conference. The Young Engineer Award is given to an engineer who has made significant contributions to the profession of engineering and his/her community. Rebecca has been honoured for her breadth of experience in environmental engineering and her volunteer activities at Engineers Nova Scotia. She has nine years of experience in decommissioning industrial and commercial facilities, demolition of institutional building, contaminated site assessment and remediation, hazardous building materials surveys, design of risk management measures (site capping), solid waste studies and waste diversion strategies.
