Sarah Devereaux was featured in the Spring/Summer 2015 edition of the Dalhousie University Engineering magazine. The article “Passion for the profession - Sarah Devereaux Champions Women in Engineering,” details Sarah’s 20+ year career in engineering focusing on her support of a new generation of women in the field, the accolades she’s received for her efforts, and her work with Dillon.
Sarah is a civil engineer and partner with experience in environmental and municipal projects. She has managed many large, multi-disciplined infrastructure projects on the East Coast and throughout Canada.
In addition to project work, she is active in the engineering community as a past president of Engineers Nova Scotia (2012-13), and Consulting Engineers of Nova Scotia (2010-11), and she is a Fellow of Engineers Canada. She has been recognized with a number of other engineering excellence awards including the recent 2014 Engineers Canada Award for the support of women in the engineering profession and 2014 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner.
