Jennifer Spencer received 2015 Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Young Achiever Award

Dillon is pleased to announce that Jennifer Spencer has been awarded the 2015 Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (NAPEG) Young Achiever Award. NAPEG is responsible for the licensing of professional engineers and professional geoscientists in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, the regulation of the practices of professional engineering and professional geoscience, the establishment and maintenance of standards of knowledge, skill, care and professional ethics among its registrants, in order that the interests of the public may be served and protected. The Young Achievers Award is designed to bestow distinction on young outstanding engineers and/or geoscientists and to recognize exceptional achievement in their chosen field.

Jennifer is a professional engineer specializing in environmental engineering projects. Since joining Dillon’s Yellowknife office in 2007 she has been involved in a number of water, wastewater, solid waste management and contaminated site projects throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Jennifer also serves as the executive director for the Northern Territories Water and Waste Association (NTWWA), a non-profit organization that works towards the advancement of knowledge in the design, construction, operation, and management of water works, wastewater treatment and disposal works, and solid waste site works within the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
