Jennifer Harker Honoured by CWRA

Jennifer Harker was honoured to receive the National Distinguished Service Award from the Canadian Water Resources Association (CWRA). In addition to this honour, Jennifer Harker and Valerie Cameron (a past CWRA president) were honoured for their work for women in the organization with a new scholarship awarded in their honour each year - the Cameron-Harker Scholarship for Women in Water.

Jennifer is a retired partner of Dillon with over 30 years of experience. An aquatic biologist by training, she worked on public and private sector environmental, engineering and planning projects. In all of these projects, she evaluated the significance and sensitivity of natural systems potentially affected and developed innovative strategies for their protection and enhancement. She was also heavily involved with the CWRA on the Ontario and National Board of Directors for more than 25 years.
