Michael Seasons Co-presented at EDCO Conference

Michael Seasons co-presented at the Economic Developers Council of Ontario Conference held January 29-31, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario. Michael co-presented a learning lab entitled “Re-tool your Decision Making: Using Pro Forma Analysis to Support Local Economic Development” alongside Chief Administrative Officer Mike Dwyer (Township of Rideau Lakes). In partnership with the Township, the Dillon team recently designed and published a publicly-accessible pro forma analysis template specifically intended for use by public sector planners, economic development officers and policymakers.

The interactive workshop illustrated how municipalities can make use of pro forma analysis as a powerful tool in crafting economic development and land use strategies. Participants were shown how pro forma analysis was recently used to assess the financial feasibility of a waterfront development project in the village of Portland, Ontario for the Township of Rideau Lakes.

Michael is a registered professional planner with a background in market research, financial analysis and land development. He has worked on a variety of land development and policy planning projects across Canada.
