Terry Boutilier Honoured with Engineering Award

Terry Boutilier was honoured by Engineers Nova Scotia with the 2018 Engineer Award. The award is given to an engineer who has achieved distinction in the practice of engineering. Recognized locally and nationally, Terry’s core values and exceptional engineering accomplishments exemplify his high level of competence, personality and integrity.

Terry is a partner, board member, and interim Chief Executive Officer at Dillon. A civil engineer with over 34 years of experience, Terry has acted as a senior designer, risk manager and technical reviewer for projects within the Atlantic Region. To date, Terry is listed as senior designer for over 250 engineering projects in the region.

Terry is a strong proponent of continuing education; he upgrades his professional knowledge on a regular basis and encourages others to do so. He is a member of Engineers Nova Scotia, the Association of Consulting Engineers Canada, the American Water Works Association, and the Water Environment Federation. Terry stands out as a mentor and role model both within the firm, and with its clients.
