CEO and President Succession Announcement

Dillon Consulting announced today that Gary Komar will be leaving Dillon on May 10, 2018. Gary began his career in Dillon’s Windsor office in 1978, moving to Toronto in the mid-1980s and has been a key contributor in the local and national markets since.  Since 2011, Gary has served as the President and CEO of Dillon. Throughout his career, Gary honoured the traditions of our firm and endeavoured to guide it consistently with our established culture and history.  We value his many contributions to Dillon and thank him for his almost 40 years of service.

Dillon will conduct a thorough internal and external executive search which we anticipate completing in the next 4-5 months. During the transition, we are pleased to announce two experienced Partners have agreed to lead the organization in distinct roles of CEO and President on an interim basis.  The Dillon Board of Directors have approved the appointments of Terry Boutilier as Interim-CEO (DCI + DCL) and Sean Hanlon as Interim-President (DCI + DCL).

Terry Boutilier, B.SC, B.Eng., P.Eng. With over 34 years as an engineering consultant including 20 years with Dillon, Terry leads Dillon’s infrastructure contractor business line and is a member of the Dillon Board which he has served as a director for 11 of the past 13 years. Terry is based in our Sydney office.

Sean Hanlon, B.Sc., B.Eng., P.Eng. With over 27 years of consulting and industry experience, Sean has been with Dillon since 2002 and is technical leader of the environmental science group and is a member of the Dillon Board. Sean is based in our Saint John office.
