Port Saint John begins West Side Modernization Project

Port Saint John (PSJ) awarded the design engineering contract for the West Side Modernization Project to the joint venture team of Hatch and Dillon. The team will oversee the design, as well as the seven year construction phase for the $205M project.

In 2014 Hatch and Dillon prepared the West Side Terminals Modernization Pre-feasibility Study which resulted in the modernization project - a phased approach to expand and modernize container terminal operations at the Port while maintaining current operations. The expansion will also benefit cruise ships through harbour deepening. More information on the West Side Modernization can be found on PSJs’ website.

Dillon is providing project management, civil engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, Indigenous consultation, risk management and community engagement services.
