Vanessa Krahn presented “Enhanced Denitrification in Cold Groundwater Climates” at Saskatchewan Environmental Industry and Managers Association’s (SEIMA) SustainTech conference in Saskatoon, SK. The presentation focused on a feasibility study for the bioremediation of nitrates on a bulk fertilizer facility.
Vanessa is an environmental engineer specializing in environmental site assessment and remediation. She has a diverse knowledge of on-site characterization, soil and groundwater assessments, remediation, spill response, and environmental monitoring and compliance. Vanessa is currently completing her M.Sc. in Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba specializing in bioremediation.
