Bianca Corlett was awarded the Emerging Environmental Professional Award by the Environmental Managers Association of British Columbia. The award recognizes an individual within their first five years in the environmental industry who has demonstrated excellence and commitment in their field and shown leadership in their company, industry and community.
Bianca is an environmental specialist and registered professional biologist delivering environmental management and planning services to Aboriginal, government, resource, and industry clients. She has experience working on various environmental assessments, facilitating Traditional Knowledge studies, conducting remote fieldwork across Canada and internationally, and coordinating Dillon’s corporate sustainability strategy. In the community, she co-founded and sits on the Board for the Next Gen Network peer mentorship community, mentors students through UBC Women in Science and was chosen as a delegate for the Leading Change conference through the GLOBE 2016 Leadership Summit for Sustainable Business.
