Margaret Kralt co-presented at the North of 60 Conference presented by Insight Information in Yellowknife, NT. Her presentation, “Developing the Infrastructure Framework for Development,” focused on recognizing priority projects, gaining financing and building local capacity for community growth. The presentation was delivered with Cynthia Westaway of Devlin Gailus Westaway.
Margaret is an associate and community planner with experience working with indigenous communities and northern regional governments. She specializes in first nation engagement, economic development strategy, community plan and zoning by-law review and updates, and regional resourced based land use planning. She also travels throughout the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and northern Alberta to coordinate and deliver training sessions for building planning capacity in local communities, hosting council and public meetings, and undertaking qualitative and quantitative research.
