In celebration and recognition of National Aboriginal Day (NAD), Dillon’s Aboriginal Services team will host presentations in select offices throughout the week to bring awareness of aboriginal culture, heritage and highlight many of the outstanding achievements by Aboriginal people. We are very pleased to be able to celebrate NAD and wish the very best for our colleagues and clients across Canada.
NAD was officially announced in 1996 by then Governor General of Canada, Roméo LeBlanc and falls on June 21st each year and is observed in every region across Canada giving people of all walks of life the opportunity to celebrate and share knowledge about the Aboriginal peoples’ values, customs, languages, and culture.
Dillon is a major provider of services to Aboriginal communities. We deliver a wide variety of Aboriginal projects across Canada including: economic development; community plans; traditional knowledge and land use occupancy studies; and assessment, rehabilitation and new construction of roads and water, wastewater and waste management systems.
