Dennis Kar and Shawn Doyle were published in the Ontario Planning Journal, February/March issue focusing on integrated mobility.
Dennis acted as an editor of the issue in addition to authoring “Integrated Mobility: Breaking Down Transportation Silos.” The editorial provides an overview of integrated mobility including the holistic approach to address mobility from a customer perspective. The full article can be found here.
Shawn’s article, “Bringing Integrated Mobility Principles to the City of Ottawa Transportation Impact Assessment Guidelines,” detailed a number of proposed changes to the City’s guidelines to reflect the city’s movement towards integrated mobility. The full article can be found here.
Dennis is an associate and transportation planner at Dillon with over 14 years of experience with transit systems and community transportation. He has participated on a number of projects relating to transit master and business plans, coordination strategies, and financial and implementation plans.
Shawn is a partner and transportation engineer with over 24 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering. He has worked extensively for clients in Central, Western and Eastern Canada, as well as internationally in the Caribbean and the Middle East. Shawn was the primary author of the updated City of Ottawa Transportation Impact Assessment Guidelines.
